Environmental pollution and climate change have become major concerns for the world. Government and private organizations both at a national and international level are working towards a better environmental situation. Global warming due to ecological imbalance and the greenhouse effect through irresponsible human behavior and consumption have shown high alerts for all. UN's goal towards ‘sustainable cities and communities’ in SDG 11 and ‘climate action’ in SDG 13 calls for an urgent response. Guided by those goals, SCT works towards creating sustainable communities and cities. May it be a plantation drive, awareness program on the environment, and support to other organizations towards this cause, SCT is committed to a better habitat.

As technology plays a better role in creating a better habitat, SCT is working towards the promotion of the advancement of technology in all its associations. The scientific and research-oriented approaches in their educational and programmatic approaches have been creating an impact towards the betterment of society. Some of its environmental initiatives planned include concerning protection of the natural habitat and the promotion of consciousness about the preservation of the environment. SCT is inclined towards undertaking projects on the conservation of the environment, ecology, natural environment, and proper management of land, water, natural vegetation, and resources.
