Teachers Training

Subhadra Charitable Trust has been organizing several teachers' training workshops for the vernacular language schools in Odisha since 2014 and under its flagship venture Odisha Primary Teacher’s Training and Research Institute (OPTTRI). OPTTRI organized a ‘state-level mathematics teacher’s training camp’ at Ratnagiri high school, Jajpur district, and Ramjee High School, Bolangir district in September 2014 in association with Odisha Mathematical Society (OMS). About 50,000 school teachers and B.Sc graduates have taken training from OPPTTRI so far. Every year, almost in every district, OPTTRI has been organizing mathematics and science teacher training programs. OPTTRI has almost 500 resource persons in 30 districts.
