Women empowerment

Women are vulnerable in our societies and gender parity is not up to the mark as per the present scenario research was done on this. They need to be made aware of their socioeconomic rights, entitlements, and support for a balanced society. Their dignity, self-respect, and position should be upheld in society and definitely, and their empowerment is the need of the hour. Considering the felt need for this and imbibed by the SGD 5 on ‘gender equality’, SCT has taken ‘women empowerment’ as one of the prime themes into our programmatic intervention.

In all its associations and institutions, SCT provides equal rights and opportunities for girl children and women. Vulnerable girl children are to be given merit scholarships and special provisions for education in CIS. Many of them from the nearby communities will be availing the quality education with affordable fees. As a part of its empowerment objective, SCT has the plan to recognize and award the authors, poets, singers, artists, talented people, devoted social workers, and other persons who have contributed to society, in which women are always given preferences. SCT always looks for talented and bright girl children to be taken into its qualitative educational programme on scholarships. It is looking forward to adopting many of the rural and urban communities to benefit the girl children at large with an aim for holistic development.
